Announcements (9/27/2020)

This is the day the Lord has made let's rejoice and be glad in it.

Thank you for the cards, thoughts and prayers sent on my behalf this week.

Since the Covid virus has interfered with our Trunk or Treat and Rummage sale events this year, we will have a community outreach free lunch instead. On Sunday November 1st after church we will have a drive-through free lunch. We will have our usual chili hut and italian bread; also hoffman hotdogs and a dessert. Anyone that would like to make a crockpot of chili please contact Cheryl @315-668-2230 or 315-663-4545. Please let your friends and neighbors know about this event.

On October 6, the Oswego and Cayuga-Onondaga Associations of the American Baptist Women’s Ministries will be having the Fall Missionary Meeting. We will be hosting that event. Everyone is invited and welcome to join us as we hear from one of our Missionaries in the field. I am very excited about this and hope many of you can join us. It will be a dish to pass dinner-time meal and please bring your own table service. There will be more details to follow.

This weeks scriptures are:
Job 42:1-5
Obadiah 1:1-4
Have a blessed week,
Pastor Lilly

This is very exciting and we hope many will participate.

Watch for your copy of Witness coming soon. Information will be in it regarding the upcoming ABC NYS 2020 Biennial AND the upcoming Iroquois Association annual meeting. If you have never attended this is a great time for you to check it out and see what happens at these events as both will be online and using ZOOM technology so you can attend from your comfy chair at home.

Don’t forget that we still take bottles and cans to turn in for refund. The prayer shawl ministry is still working diligently on shawls. If you know someone that could use the comfort a shawl provides, contact Cheryl Bachman.

Have a blessed week.
Blessings
Pastor Lilly
