Announcements (3/29/2020)

This is the day the LORD has made! Let us REJOICE and be glad in it!

We have been collecting spaghetti sauce for the food pantry and we’ll start collecting cereal beginning in April. This was our plan. Life has given us an opportunity to be of more help to those in need. We have people in our very midst that have found themselves worried they would become unemployed. Things are uncertain while Congress decides what to do. God has given us the task of taking care of things here and now. While some are able to stockpile food and supplies for themselves, others are hungry. The food pantry is in need of help meeting the needs of people in our community.

The pantry has published a list of needs:

Canned fruit and vegetables
Macaroni and cheese
Tuna Fish
Pork and beans
Cereal
Canned and boxed pasta

These items can be dropped off at the pantry on Tuesday and Thursday 9 am-12 pm. Wednesday 6-8pm or on Saturday 10am-12pm.

If you can’t get to the pantry and want to drop items off at church, we will see that they get delivered for you. This is all contingent on your ability to go out of your house. We are told to stay home away from any possibility of exposure. If you have to go out for your own needs and have a little extra time and money to help others then we thank you in advance for anything you can do. Little is much when God is in it.

Email me any prayer requests and I will share them out Sunday too!
